Pixie haircuts and crops are generally very short haircuts, and when you needed to say a noticeable difference between the 2, besides the proven fact that “crop” sounds terrible since it is something you need to do for your dog, it would be that the pixie haircut could be a little bit wispy. A crop may be more blunt while a pixie might be more textured and razored- which is incorporated in the sense that most of these short haircuts were once connected with “cheerful” fairies (pixies).
